German Tanker FGS Rhön Joins Atalanta
April 8, 2014 - 09:23On Monday 7 April the German tanker Rhön arrived in the port of Djibouti to join the European Union Naval Force (EU NAVFOR) Somalia Operation Atalanta.
The tanker under the command of Captain Egon Rhauderwiek will provide regular replenishment support to the EU Naval Force warships and other international forces conducting counter piracy operations at the Horn of Africa.
