EU Naval Force Warship ESPS Rayo Conducts Maritime Training with Djiboutian Navy Sailors
February 26, 2015 - 16:08During her port visit to Djibouti, EU Naval Force warship, ESPS Rayo, conducted maritime training in support of the EU’s maritime capacity building mission, EUCAP Nestor.
On Tuesday 24 February, sailors from the Djiboutian Navy were briefed on the range of equipment on board the Spanish warship that is used in damage control situations. After the briefing, the Djiboutian Navy sailors conducted a series of exercises to enable them to put in to practice the lessons learnt.
Following the exercises, Djiboutian Navy sailors were given a tour of the ship.
Before they departed the warship, the Djiboutian guests were invited to join ESPS Rayo sailors for lunch.
