The delivery of the outboard motors was conducted in cooperation with EUCAP Nestor and is part of their co-ordinated programme to train and equip local maritime police and coast guards in Somalia to help them develop and enhance their maritime capabilities and to achieve self-sustainability in terms of maritime security in the long term.
