On Friday 16 October 2015, Spanish warship, ESPS Victoria, made her first port visit to the Seychelles since joining Operation Atalanta at the start of October.
During the port visit, ESPS Victoria welcomed on board Spain’s Honorary Consul to the Seychelles, Mr Edmond Hoareau, and Port Victoria’s Mayor, Madame Mayor Jacqueline Moustache.
The port visit to the Seychelles allowed ESPS Victoria to resupply stores and allowed members of the crew to take some rest and recuperation before continuing with her counter-piracy patrols off the coast of Somalia.
