Warships from EU Naval Force and Royal Oman Navy Carry Out Naval Manoeuvres off Coast of Salalah
April 16, 2017 - 06:47After departing the port of Salalah following her port visit to Oman, EU Naval Force warship, ITS Espero, took the opportunity to carry out naval manoeuvres with the Royal Oman Navy warship, RON Al-Shamikh.
Sailing in close proximity to each other, ITS Espero and RON Al-Shamikh conducted navigation and boarding manoeuvres and both ships passed messages by flashing light.
This interaction at sea was a great opportunity to enhance the already strong relationship and mutual understanding between the EU Naval Force and Royal Oman Navy, and a way to strengthen partnership in promoting peace and maritime stability.
