The Spanish SH-60F, manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft, is a 4-blade, two-turbine single-rotor helicopter. It is a naval helicopter, for amphibious helicarrier (TTH).
It has a barycentric hook for logistics tasks, which allows the transport of external loads for vertical supply (VERTREP). It also has a loading crane (hoist), which facilitates the ability to lift or lower objects or people inside the helicopter (VOD).
To meet medical evacuation capabilities (CASEVAC/MEDEVAC), it has a medicalization kit to install stretchers, in addition to the possibility of installing medical equipment that allows stabilized medical evacuation.
Currently, the helicopter mounts the 12.7 mm GAU-16 machine gun, and the acquisition of the 7.6 mm M-240D is planned.
