On the 7th February 2015, the Italian Task Force Air (TFA) in Djibouti completed its deployment with the EU Naval Force.

During a recent visit to Port Victoria in The Seychelles, EU Naval Force frigate, FGS Lubeck, conducted training with five officers from the local Marine Police Patrol Unit.  Once on board, the officers received both theoretical and practical navigation training.

On Saturday 31 January the Chairman of the EU Military Committee, General Patrick de Rousiers, visited the Spanish Maritime Patrol Aircraft ‘Orion’ Detachment based in Djibouti.
