On Wednesday 16 September 2015, Italian warship, ITS Libeccio, hosted members of the Pakistan Navy during a port visit to Muscat.
The commanding officer of ITS Libeccio, Commander Daniele P.M. Martinuzzi, welcomed the commanding officer of PNS Alamgir, Captain Faisal Amil, and members of his crew on board.
After being given a tour of the ship and briefed on its capabiities, both commanders discussed the close and successful collaboration between Operation Atalanta and the Combined Task Forces.
PNS Alamgir is currently deployed with Combined Task Force 150.
