The Northwood Headquarters of the European Union Naval Force Somalia - Operation Atalanta welcomed the Swedish Minister of Defence HE Karin Enstrom for a visit on Thursday 06 September.
Met by Rear Admiral Gualtiero Mattesi, Deputy Commander Op Atalanta and Chief of Staff Captain Phil Haslam, HE Enstrom received an up to date briefing on current operations in the Joint Operational Centre.
Following some discussion time, there was an opportunity for the Defence Minister to meet the Swedish members on the EU Naval Force staff.
