On 11 April the Force Commander of EU Naval Force (EUNAVFOR) Somalia Operation Atalanta, Rear Admiral Jürgen zur Mühlen, visited the first ship of his task force since he took over command, HS Psara. The replenishment tanker arrived in Djibouti on Monday 7 April. The tanker is manned with 42 civilians. FS Siroco's boats takes Puntland President to EU Naval-Force Flagship. The Puntland President is welcomed on board FS Siroco by Mr Michele Cervone, Rear Admiral Bartolome Bauza and Rear Admiral Herve Blejean. Discussion were held on board EU Naval Force flagship between the Puntland Delegation and European Union Representatives. The Puntland President addresses members of the International Media on board FS Siroco. On completion of the event the Puntland President and his Delegation were invited to FS Sirocos flightdeck for a photograph with EU Representaives. On Tuesday 18 March, three EU Naval Force warships, FS Siroco, FGS Hessen and ESPS Relampago gathered in the Gulf of Aden for a joint replenishment at sea (RAS) with the American logistics ship, USNS Pecos from Task Force 53.
